We started out as part of an in-house marketing team for a company in London. As a hobby (or "project research" as we called it), we would check out different websites and ads. Occasionally we'd see something good. But a lot of what we were seeing was just plain boring.

Good marketing should be

Instead, we were finding the same bland, uninspired, boring styles infecting billboards and browsers everywhere. Garbage disguised behind meaningless stats and technical jargon.

One day, after reading a particularly sleep-inducing advert ("leveraging automation to streamline workflows"), we joked with each other:

"We should totally start a marketing agency that's actually fun!"

And when we finished laughing...
